I build things, automate what I can, and take apart the rest.
Professionally, that lands me in software, security, and infrastructure—but honestly,
I'd be doing most of this anyway.
I just like knowing how things work under the hood.
That usually spills over into running my own home infrastructure, hands-on mechanical work,
or just tinkering with whatever new system catches my attention.
I gravitate toward simpler solutions.
Good technology should do its job, stay out of the way, be reliable, and not require constant babysitting.
A lot of tech overhead comes from adding layers too early, when a simpler solution could
have solved the problem just as well and with less maintenance.
Whether I'm building a pipeline, hosting a local-first service, or taking on a physical project,
I'd rather take the time to do it right once than spend forever fixing shortcuts.
This is a workspace to document projects, publish technical notes, and experiments. Some of it will be finished, some of it will be raw, but it's all stuff I found useful or interesting enough to keep around.
